About Dog Licenses

All dogs over 5 months of ages must be licensed annually.  Licenses may be obtained at the Village Hall. The fee for licenses is $10.00 for spayed or neutered dogs and $15.00 for those that are not spayed or neutered. Puppies are $10.00 unspayed or unneutered or $7.50 spayed or neutered. You must provide proof of vaccinations when applying for the licenses.  A late fee of $5.00 will be charged after April 1.

 

Application forms will be included with your property tax bills each year.  However, if you are new to town or get a new dog during the year, please contact Village Hall during regular office, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Tuesday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.to obtain a form, or click on the link below.

 

Licenses are for the calendar year. If you acquire a dog during the year or move into Wisconsin during the year, you must pay the full annual license fee. The only exception to this is if the dog is a puppy that became five months of age after July 1.

If you move to another municipality in Wisconsin, you do not have to purhcase a new license, but you must notify the originial municipality of the new address.
